Barre Fitness

Barre fitness was developed by German ballet dancer Lotte Berk in the 1950s as a way to stay fit while working around a back injury.
At The Barre we offer classes in the Original Barre method developed by Berk, Buff Barre that takes the original method and adds weights and props, and Ballet Barre focused on traditional ballet style barre exercises.

Mat Pilates

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates as a mind-body exercise format that incorporates breathing with slow, coordinated, intentful movements.
The Barre offers Mat Pilates classes for our clients featuring the original 34 movements developed by Mr. Pilates.
- Low impact strength training

-Focus on core strength and coordination
Community Events

The Barre regularly hosts Special Events for our members and the community. These occasional sessions include themed classes, puppy pilates, sound baths, splits workshops and more!
